Ingredients
Olive oil mix
- 3 garlic cloves
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Pinch of salt and pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon chilli flakes
- 1/4 cup olive oil
Protein bread
- 2 eggs white
- 42 g pea protein
- 8 g Naak cricket powder
- 1 tablespoon whole psyllium husks
- 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder, diluted in hot water
Instructions
- Mix the egg whites, pea protein, cricket powder, and psyllium husks until smooth
- Add the baking powder mixture and mix in. Let the dough rest for approx. 10 minutes
- Preheat the oven at 325F
- Evenly spread out the dough over parchment paper in an oven dish
- Cook for 16-18 minutes, or until the bread is firm
- Remove the bread from the oven and turn the grill on
- Chop the garlic in a bowl
- Add olive oil, herbs, chilli, salt and pepper, and mix well
- Cut the bread into slices and brush with the olive oil mixture
- Grill for 1-2 minutes
