Ingredients
Liquids
- 3 bananas
- 1/2 cup milk alternative
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup chia seeds
- 1 egg
- Juice of 1/4 of a lime
- 1/2 cup mashed dates
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- Vanilla extract
Solids
- 2 cups gluten-free flour
- 1/2 cup cricket powder
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- In a bowl, mash the bananas then add the other liquid ingredients one after another and mix well. Add baking powder and let sit for 5 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 350F.
- Mix all the solid ingredients together.
- Incorporate the solid ingredients into the liquid ingredients whilst mixing well.
- Poor the mix into an oiled cake pan.
- Cook for 30-40 minutes.
