In other words, Näak has proven to show dedication in building our corporation that is beneficial to our customers and planet.

Environmental protection is one of our biggest concerns and we realize other corporations share the same commitment to preserve our playground. To honour these commitments, we have been partnering with the BC Parks Foundation since 2021 by donating 3% of the revenue from every Näak purchase made. This means the money you help us raise will be used to continue preserving forests, buying and maintaining parks, and securing habitats for numerous endangered species.Now that Näak is B Corp certified, we believe working together with other B Corporations, who also stand for what we believe in, will allow us to preserve our playground in bigger, greater and more impactful ways.

THE BEGINNING OF NÄAK

In 2016, in Montreal, Canada, Näak was created with the huge ambition of making sports nutrition more sustainable. Our founders, William Walcker and Minh-Anh Pham, wanted to deliver maximum performance for minimum environmental impact. Thus, the first Näak bar was made with cricket powder, one of the most sustainable protein sources available.

Ever since, Näak has expanded their product range with the launch of plant-based energy bars, protein powders, energy waffles, etc made to ULTRA fuel fellow professional and amateur endurance athletes. All our products are made with a short list of identifiable natural ingredients with guaranteed tastiness.

Over the past 4 years, Näak has taken big and small steps to abide by our mission. Starting from choosing cricket protein, over animal or animal-derived ones, as a sustainable source protein. This means when you choose Näak, you are helping us reduce 100x fewer greenhouse gas emissions and use of land, water, and feed.

Our commitment to our planet outside of production has also helped us gain recognition as a certified B Corporation.Näak is working towards reducing the need for extracting and processing raw materials into new packaging materials; thus, by 2025, we aim to make our packaging 100% reusable, recyclable, or compostable.
